[I swear I didn’t go out of my way to select these, this happened to be the first post I came across tonight. And I thought it’d be good to translate it in full, because I know I’ve said I’ve read a lot of covid conspiracies on the Chinese internet, but I don’t think I’ve actually ever gotten to show you guys an example.]
An askreddit question, “Why do Americans like to drink ice water, but Chinese people like to drink hot water?”
The top-reply is, “In the middle of the night, on the 27th of January, 1952, large numbers of American aircrafts flew over the 42nd base of the PLA and deposited bombs.
What was strange was that none of the bombs exploded.
In the early morning of the 28th, Comrade Li Guangfu of the 375th company of the 42nd battalion discovered large amounts of flies, fleas, and spiders around his camp.
This was bizarre, because it was in the middle of a freezing winter in North Korea. Everything was covered in ice. Normally, this kind of insect wouldn’t be seen around.
Afterwards, the 375th company found many places with unusual numbers of insects within 6km radius of them. In the most dense area, they found an average of 600 insects per square metre. Thick, black hordes of insects formed a distinct contrast with the white blanket of snow.
Starting from the 29th, other troops in the PLA found similar situations. The 4th, 12th, and 39th Battalion and the 19th Company all discovered incidents of Americans dropping insect bombs, a combined 8 incidents.
The method of bombing involved paper packages, cotton, or tree leaves which contained fleas, spiders, ants, and flies inside. Some were even disease bombs made from propaganda pamphlets.
After that, the area that American planes were dropping bioweapon bombs expanded, into China’s own territory.
From the 29th of February to the 31st of March, American planes invaded Dongbei airspace 955 times, across 70 counties. Among them, only 17 planes dropped off actual bombs. All the rest were carrying disease.
Among these counties, Fushun, Andong, Fengcheng, and Linjiang became the worst-hit areas.
These disease-ridden insects that appeared out of nowhere behaved in a very strange manner. They were shockingly resistant to disease. The flies could lay eggs in temperatures that reached 17 degrees below zero.
No flies native to Dongbei were that resilient. It was obvious at first glance that this was a carefully artificially engineered strain.
All the discovered insects were captured by the PLA and preserved as evidence of American war crimes.
Soon after discovering Americans were dropping strange insects, Dongbei and North Korea began to report large scale plagues.
Bubonic Plague, Small Pox, Anthrax, and other exceptionally deadly and infectious diseases exploded all at once in PLA logistics units, all across the map.
As the widely-acknowledged worst disease in the world, just a single case of Bubonic Plague is enough to put any government on high alert, because the smallest mistake could lead to its rapid spread, destroying this country just like the Black Death once almost destroyed Europe.
And in the backlines of the PLA, multiple counties reported cases of Bubonic Plague, like a spark about to turn into an inferno.
Not to mention the large numbers of Smallpox, Anthrax, Cholera, and Typhoid Patient Zeros, as well as the many people with meningitis as a result of insect bites.
Battalion Leader Li Xiang of the 67th Battalion was infected by these bioweapons and died as a result, becoming the highest ranking casualty in the Korean War [on China’s side].
Where did America get these bio weapons? Why would they use bio weapons?
In 1932, Japan established a bioweapon research base in Dongbei, called Unit 731. Here, the Japanese military captured large numbers of Chinese people as experimental subjects, infecting these people with Anthrax, Bubonic Plague, Cholera, and other diseases. They performed vivisections at different stages of infection, to observe the effects the diseases had on the human body.
To pursue the most realistic data, the Japanese military specifically demanded that the person being vivisected had to be aware and alert during the whole progress, in order to prevent any influence anaesthetics might have had on their medical observation. The result was cruelty beyond imagination.
According to Commander of the First Troop of Unit 731, Kawashima Kiyoshi [Original kanji is 川岛清, in case I got the hiragana wrong on this one]’s confession, just between 1940 and 1945, at least 3000 people were used as experimental subjects, an average of 400-600 people per day. According to the Third Commander of the Kanto Army, 吉房雄 [I have no idea how to translate this into hiragana]’s confession, their troop alone handed over 5000 Chinese people over to Unit 731.
And not a single Chinese person who entered Unit 731 left alive.
9th of August, 1945, the Soviet Union attacked the Kanto troop.
10th of August, 1945, Unit 731 received orders to destroy all materials and kill all remaining 405 experimental subjects. After cremation, their ashes were dumped into the Songhua River.
Using these thousands of Chinese lives, Unit 731 successfully obtained large amounts of data on diseases, and managed to create cold-resistant disease, cold-resistant insects, and appropriate ways to deposit disease.
At first, these cold-resistant bio weapons were prepared for the Soviet Union, but it never got used.
How do you make insects carry disease? How do you deposit the insects in a way that maximises their spread? This info was exceedingly valuable back in the day, and only Japan had access to that data.
After Unit 731 escaped back to Japan, they changed their name and went into hiding, but was still eventually found by the Americans.
Right before the Tokyo trials in 1945, the American military formed an agreement with 20-odd war criminals from Uni 731, for them to turn over their data on bio weapons and human experimentation data, in exchange for being pardoned for their crimes.
According to the “Summary of Latest Data on Japanese Bio Weapon Project”, written on the 20th of June, 1947, by Phil [that’s the only name given, author doesn’t give a last name], the American military received over 8000 disease slides from Unit 731, large amounts of data on anthrax, Bubonic Plague, typhoid, etc. And American biology experts confirmed the accuracy, realism, and completeness of this data.
Afterwards, the top scientists involved in Unit 731 were transported to America’s Fort Detrick and became high-level consultants within the American military.
With their efforts, Fort Detrick officially became the Detrick Bio-Chemical Weapon Lab, becoming the first and biggest of America’s bio weapon lab.
Early 1950s, America officially took the top scientists in Unit 731 into a special branch of the Army named J2C406, so they can create and breed large amounts of carrier animals like rats, flies, and mosquitos for the American military.
October of 1950, Fort Detrick successfully created four types of bio weapon bombs, made with Anthrax, Rabbit Fever, Bubonic Plague, and Botulism.
March, 1951, American National Institute of Health Head Hines claimed, “We have already succeeded in making microbiological bombs and shells. They’re fully deployable at this stage.”
October of 1951, American military suffers great defeat on the Korean front, and the United Nations peacekeeping troops were forced to “advance towards the south”.
In order to cut off the PLA from support, America sends large numbers of planes to bomb PLA logistics lines, to little effect. It was simply too costly.
So how can they cut the PLA off from their logistics?
January of 1951, an article was published in American newspapers, claiming that “viruses and poison gas were the cheapest weapons.”
If only they could deposit diseases, and create a plague field behind the PLA’s lines. Wouldn’t that be great?
So across multiple locations, large numbers of Patient Zeros began appearing in North Korea and Dongbei.
In order to expose America’s war crimes, China invited multiple international organisations to come investigate in Dongbei and North Korea, and every investigation resulted in the conclusion that America did, indeed, use biological weapons.
March of 1952, the son-in-law of Marie Curie, leader of the World Peace Council, Joliot-Curie officially announced his conclusion:
“From the 28th of January to the 17th of February, American military aircraft has been spreading Bubonic Plague, Cholera, Typhoid, and other terrifying diseases in the front lines and back lines of the Korean War. Such an appalling action actually took place. This is another atrocious sin after wiping out hundreds of thousand of people in Nagasaki and Hiroshima using Atomic Bombs.”
With the invitation of the World Peace Council, a combined force of elite scientists from Switzerland, France, England, Italy, Brazil, and the Soviet Union investigated the extent of bio warfare in Dongbei and North Korea, and came to the conclusion after over 2 months, in August, that “The people of North Korea and Dongbei have indeed become targets of biological weapons attacks.”
17th of May, 1952, two American pilots were shot down in the process of dropping bio weapons, and their confession was published by Xinhua News, proving the reality of biological weapons.
18th of June, 1952, the Soviet Union proposes at the UN meeting that nations around the world should sign a treaty banning the development and use of biological weapons.
This proposal was vetoed by America.
Because Fort Detrick had already become the top biological weapons lab in the world, and America didn’t want to give up on its ace. It didn’t matter that the entire globe was accusing America of conducting inhumane biological warfare. America didn’t care. They could always deny everything.
Even if you have witnesses and evidence and the support of multiple nations’ experts, what does it matter?
We couldn’t depend on the American’s morality when it came to fighting against biological attacks. Even turning public opinion against them to take the moral high ground wouldn’t matter much when it came to the people who were already infected.
To win this biological war, we could only depend upon ourselves.
19th of January, 1952, Central Military Commissars confirmed that the Americans were indeed launching biological warfare, and decided to transport all 3.4 million Bubonic Plague vaccines China had on hand to North Korea and Dongbei, as well as 9000 pounds of disinfectant and other quarantine tools. They also ordered the immediate production of another 10 million Bubonic Plague vaccines.
Not only did the PLA need vaccine injections, but all the commoners who lived in the area needed vaccines. Around 4.5 million North Korean citizens were vaccinated by China.
1st of March, 1952, the PLA established a Quarantine Committee, which formed quarantine task forces in every company. They sent health experts to help, determined to win this fight against disease.
The methods they used were very simple, just three steps: vaccine, quarantine, and hygiene.
The most important step of that was killing infected insects, cleaning hard-to-get-to areas, and cutting off the path of infection.
In order to prevent America from expanding their bio warfare radius even more in a lunatic frenzy, all over China, a patriotic hygiene movement was started.
Wells were dug, Trash was cleaned up. Bathrooms were disinfected. And people drank boiled water. Simple cleaning tasks like these were elevated to an act of resistance against America’s Imperialist ambitions.
Nationalist China had been calling for decades for people to only drink boiled water, and in just a couple of years, it became a matter of common sense, because it was the cheapest and most effective way to stay clean.
And decades later, thermos of hot water has become a must-have item for all Chinese uni students.
Drinking boiled water has turned from a culinary choice to a way to defend our nation’s safety.
And because America bio warfare was dependent on infected insects and rats as an infection vector, China began a massive pest-elimination movement, which evolved in 1958 to “Exterminating the Four Vermins”.
Back then, the slogan for pest-elimination wasn’t just to remove pests, but rather, “Every fly you kill is an American soldier.”
129 quarantine task forces were organised around the country, with 66 quarantine stations, disinfecting all people and cars travelling around the country, to prevent the disease from creeping further inland.
In 1952, the new patriotic hygiene movement created 1.3 million new wells around China. They built 28 million km of gutters, 4.9 million new bathrooms, and completely changed people’s hygiene habits. This was the first time Chinese people got used to doing their business in a bathroom.
After the massive hygiene movement of 1952, Chinese people’s hygiene standards and health level increased dramatically.
Under strict quarantine and widespread disinfection, the multiple incidents of plague America created in North Korea and Dongbei were snuffed out. Only a couple of hundred people died to America-created plagues.
This result was far from what America wanted. It didn’t come close to cutting off PLA logistics.
September of 1952, the personnel responsible for America’s bio weapons programs reported to the government that they were overly-optimistic about the effectiveness of biological bombs. It wasn’t actually effective in practical combat.
China successfully defended against this biological attack. Neither bubonic plague nor anthrax could destroy China.
Fort Detrick may have the most high-end biological weapons development capabilities in the world, but China wasn’t afraid.
September of 2019, the CDC suddenly demanded that the military immediately shut down the Fort Detrick bio base.
Faced with reporter’s questions, the CDC refused to give any more details due to “national security”.
23th of August, 2019, the CDC announced that a patient in America presented with severe respiratory symptoms after smoking electronic cigarettes. White lung spots appeared in this patient exactly like SARS, and it died from severe respiratory system damage.
After that, more and more American patients appeared with similar symptoms, and more and more people began to die. The CDC explained all of this as a result of electronic cigarettes.
Tons of people smoke electronic cigarettes around the world, and only Americans were dying? And with those classic white liver spots, just like SARS and covid?
What’s even more amazing was that the earliest patients all lived around Fort Detrick.
18th of October, Military World Games was held in Wuhan, and American soldiers attended.
December of 2910, the first case of mysterious respiratory illness appears in Wuhan, presenting classic SARS white lung spots, with severe lung damage.
Winter of 2019, American “flu deaths” skyrockets, far exceeding past years’ numbers at 18,000 people.
Wuhan put all respiratory patients into the hospital, and in a month, their healthcare system totally collapsed.
America told all respiratory patients that it was just the “flu”, and they should go home and drink hot water, and only admitted patients with severe symptoms, so their healthcare system kept running.
And with this advice of drinking hot water, despite the disease spreading for another year in America, their healthcare system still ran just fine.
And the representation of cutting edge American biological weapon development, the Fort Detrick Bio Lab created using core information from Uni 731, stayed closed for an entire year with no reason despite its inestimable value, and has still resume operation to this day.”
Loved the part about flies, laying eggs at -17 degrees. So believable! :)
"These disease-ridden insects that appeared out of nowhere behaved in a very strange manner. They were shockingly resistant to disease. The flies could lay eggs in temperatures that reached 17 degrees below zero."
My grandmother and every other TCM doc I know has said women especially should not drink cold beverages because it’s bad for our reproductive system. 🫠
